…can only mean one thing. Trade talks.
Every General Manager in the NHL is in Naples, Florida (doesn’t it look nice there, if you’re from Canada at least,) this week-end supposedly meeting to talk about new rules, old rules, possible rule changes, and even possibly the idea of going to an 84 game schedule.
But lets be honest. With the trade deadline less than 10 days away, theres one main topic and all the GMs minds, and hockey fans in general.
Historically this is the weekend that kicks off the blockbuster trades, or at least the talks and gives everyone the notion of just how serious this talks are going to be. So stay tuned folks, this could be a very important weekend, as it could shape the rest of the season, and therefore the off-season, and it determines the wy in which some teams are planning for the future. Go for the Cup now, or build for the years to come…
