I don’t get hoe this is even a question OVECHKIN Has it in the bag datsyuk is surrounded by zetterburg and all of his redwings (yes he is an incredible player amd I really like his style of play) he was not the most valuable player even to the wings and malin is surrounded by cindy crysby and EVERYBODY ELSE and no shit they won the stanely cup look at their team if ovechkin doesn’t win the mvp 80percent of hockey fans will be disapointed OVECHKIN IS THE MOST SKILLED PLAYER WITH THE MOST HEART TO EVER PLAY ING THE NHL

Bertuzzi deserves as much public vilification as can be heaped upon his sorry head.
I hope Steve Moore gets every cent of money Todd has earned since his insane, near-fatal assault.

ovechkin is the best player if they had a mvt award then the whole team gets it since they dont one man cant take whole team to playoffs so if hes still the most valuable then he wins it and ovie is

I would go for brodeur. I think in order to be considered the best goalie ever, you have to take on many things, on the ice and off. Brodeur’s GAA are better than Roy’s which in my opinion is the only way of measuring a goalie, and his conduct on and off the Ice is ten times better. I have no respect for Roy, and never will. Brodeur is the better netminder no questions asked.

First, Brodeur plays behind a defensive team that only allows 20 shots a game and most of these come from the top of the circle or the point. It’s not like Montreal had a dynasty when Roy played for them. Secondly, Roy played during the eighties when the average goals per game was much higher, probably because goalie equipment was half the size it is now. Lastly, Roy has won three Conn Smythe trophies and you could certainly make an argument that he should have won four. This proves that he’s his best when he needs to be. There is a reason Roy was the number one goalie in Nagano.

They just changed the rules in teh NHL after the lockout so marty couldn’t play the puck.
They could have changed the goal crease size for Roy, but i don’t remember i’m 30 and i remember where there was a REd Line in the sport. MArty has to fight through Having no RED line, much more fast paced game now, and ROY never had to deal with the “shootout” in OT which in a whole new way of looking at the OT game. Bottom Line I LOVE marty but ROy is better (for now) MB is only 36 so…we will see!
